Tailored obsession

Tailored obsession

Tailored obsession by sophhh1 featuring special occasion shoes
“Learn a playful dandyism and you will become the magnet for people’s dark, unrealised yearnings,” advises Robert Greene in his book The Art of Seduction
Androgy and fashion, the boundaries for masculine-feminine fashion and this springs hottest new trend.
I've been finding inspiration and having a bit of a faze with the more tailored look, I know its not an every day look, but find a good blazer and throw it  together with a causal outfit (such as boyfriend jeans/skinny jeans/ leather skirt and basic top) it can really freshen it up, but still with a relaxed, sexy feel.
I love the Androgy style its so effortless cool and even if it is tom boyish and gender blurring as soon as i wear this style i feel sexy. Low cut white silk shirt and fitted trousers with an over sized blazer and a pair of heeled pumps, or even if you have no chest like me just wear the blazer buttoned up. This is one of my favourite trends, its simple but sexy and easy.
I've been noticing for a long time and finding inspiration from Cara Delevingne and Alexa chung who both seem to wear this style a lot, I really want Caras white trouser suit, and even though I'm not a big fan of Nike trainers Alexer carries them off effortlessly with this playful tailored look.

I had an event a few nights ago where i could dress up so i wore this

I tried to add my spin on the Androgy trend but i opted for a more loose fitted silk top from Zara, my fitted dark grey trousers from Next, Bag from Topshop, Blazer Topshop and my pump heels from Riess, I do prefer this look with heeled pumps rather than flats but then again a pair of ripped boyfriend jeans a white t-shirt, black blazer and a pair Birkenstock's would work a treat. Its all about mixing masculine and feminine attributes

shoe unboxing // vagabond libby chelsea boots

I finally have my beautiful Vagabond Libby's for £60! from £90 in the Urban Outfitters  sale, and I literally cannot stop wearing them. I had heard a lot about these shoes and the Vagabond make, I really wanted to get my hands on a pair and when I saw these in the UO I snapped them up, especially the Libby's although they only had a size bigger than my shoe size left....but I was that desperate for them I got them anyway.. thankfully they fitted perfectly!

These shoes are so comfy and stylish one of the most comfortable pair of shoes i own, i could wear them for days. Which is great in heeled boots, you can also dress these shoes up or down and the heel is not too high either and I'm quite tall anyway so I liked that in these shoes. So if you're looking for comfortable heeled boots you can wear all through the day and night check these out.

I also liked the fact that they more of a statement shoe, but its not too obvious and they can really complete an outfit with a bit more of an edge. I just love them and they really are worth the money!

A bit of a clear out means buying new things!

So I recently had a little bit of a clear out of some clothes and i'm selling a few on my ebay account which you should go check out :) I'm selling a few nice things I've worn once and I just want rid, so  selling them super cheap! And I also cleared my DVDS... especially has I have far too many embarrassing ones to count! Also the fact I have Netflix so I don't really need to keep them. I sold the ones I didn't want anymore and got like 18 quid for them! I was quite pleased, I only expected a fiver. So that ezra £18 went on The Body Shop obviously..........
I've had a lot of break outs in spots these couple of months and i've been meaning to get some new cleansers/toners for a while so i had a quick look in Body Shop and came across these bad boys
Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion - Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner - Tea Tree Skin Clearing Foaming Cleanser.
I got these three in a deal all for £13! from £18, such a bargain! Ive used these products before and they really are some great products. I was just lazy in using them, as it says after three days you will notice clearer skin but I wan't very religious with them and didn't see much of a difference. But I do take a bit more pride in taking care of my skin now so this time i'm going to keep using them and take a before and after three days photo to see the difference and do a post on it!

I was also looking for a new body scrub so I ventured into boots and had a look in the Soap and Glory section and got this beauty

The Soap and Glory smashed brown sugar, sweet lime almond oil & macadamia grains, it was £8 which I thought was good especially for how much you get the tubs are huge, you defiantly get more for your money, I thought of getting a scrub from The Body Shop but you don't get as much plus they're a little more expensive and they never lasted me very long.
The choice was so hard between all the s&g body scrubs! they were all so yummy! But this one was the best seller and it smells so delicious and fresh! I can't wait to try this one out.

I have some beautiful clothes heading my way from the Urban Outfitters sale, so will be posting about what bargains I got, and I shall be doing some otto's and styling. Also a rather exciting shoe unboxing featuring some very beautiful Vagabond Libby's!

I hope you've all had a wonderful day!

Netfilx mad

Im an actual recluse lately, I go to work come home not to be excited about seeing friends nor my pets, family etc. But Netfilx... I'm film mad at the moment, watching every disney/dreamworks and pixar film on there, its starting to become an obsession. But I'm ok with that, I really don't know how i lived with out Netfilx, especially as i can access all the Netflix regions too which is soooo much better. I need some more films to watch, any recommendations?
I need a life...
